Join us as we explore the Basic Quality Verification (BQV) program, a gateway to discovering unique and authentic tourism experiences found in and around Villages, Small Towns, and Dorpies (VTSDs).

The BQV program serves as a catalyst for formalising homestays across South Africa, offering a platform for small tourism establishments to thrive. Through this initiative, the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa aims to empower VTSD businesses by providing access to essential training programs, resources, and funding opportunities, enabling them to realise their full potential.

Recognising that these small tourism establishments are the cornerstone of our country's tourism industry, we strive to showcase the rich tapestry of South African culture and hospitality they offer. Through BQV, remote establishments can undergo verification and enter a comprehensive two-year program, gaining invaluable access to training, resources, and funding to enhance their offerings and elevate their presence in the tourism landscape. Join us as we celebrate and support the heart of South African tourism at this enlightening event.
